This role offers the opportunity to work with an affluent client base, delivering sophisticated, planning‑led advice while building long‑term, trusted relationships and contributing to sustained business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage senior client relationships, understanding financial goals, risk appetite, and long‑term planning needs.
- Deliver tailored financial planning, investment, and wealth management solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on investments, risk management, and market developments.
- Analyse client portfolios, cash flow, and external factors to identify opportunities and risks.
- Communicate and justify recommendations clearly, ensuring commercial and client‑aligned outcomes.
- Maintain strong risk management, governance, and regulatory discipline.
- Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and auditability of all client interactions.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
Expectations
- Contribute to business strategy, policy development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as a senior technical expert, providing insight that supports long‑term profitability, risk management, and decision‑making.
- Where applicable, lead, guide, and develop colleagues, supporting future capability and performance.
- Demonstrate ownership of risk, controls, and governance aligned to regulatory standards.
- Advise and influence senior stakeholders across functional and cross‑functional areas.
- Apply advanced analytical thinking and research to solve complex problems and develop effective solutions.
- Build and maintain trusted internal and external relationships using strong influencing and negotiation skills.
- Maintain a broad understanding of organisational activities to support aligned delivery of business objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Financial Planning qualification at RDR Level 4 or above, including packaged products advice.
- Proven experience delivering personalised financial planning and investment advice.
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, regulated products, pensions, UK taxation, and asset management.
- Confident use of digital tools to support high‑quality client engagement and decision‑making.
- FCA‑approved status (or eligibility) with a strong focus on compliance and risk management.
- Experience working collaboratively across teams and networks to grow and retain client relationships.
