A Successful Syndicate is seeking a talented Underwriting Data Analyst to join its Portfolio Management team. This newly created role will play a key part in developing and maintaining critical reporting tools that support underwriting and strategic decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and enhance underwriting dashboards for senior leadership and underwriting teams.
- Automate recurring reporting outputs and manage dashboard quality control processes.
- Collaborate with data governance and IT teams to ensure robust deployment of MI tools.
- Support project tracking and prioritisation across the Portfolio Management function.
Ideal Candidate:
- 1–2 years’ experience in a data/analytics role, ideally within insurance or financial services.
- Strong skills in SQL, Power BI, and Excel; PowerPoint proficiency a plus.
- Excellent communicator with a problem-solving mindset and a keen eye for detail.
- Educated to degree level in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Maths, Computer Science, Data Analytics); postgraduate qualifications preferred.
