About the Role

I am currently recruiting for a large Housing Association who are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a growing Business Change and Technology function at an exciting stage of a major digital transformation programme.

This role will lead a significant Repairs and Property Services transformation project, delivering business-critical change that improves customer outcomes, enhances colleague experiences and drives operational efficiency. Working closely with senior leaders across business and technology teams, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering strategic initiatives from concept through to implementation and benefits realisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead large-scale technology-enabled transformation projects from discovery through to delivery and closure.
  • Develop business cases, project initiation documentation and mobilisation plans.
  • Create and maintain robust project plans, identifying dependencies, risks and critical delivery milestones.
  • Manage project budgets, resources, forecasting and governance activities.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams within a matrix management environment.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, ensuring engagement, alignment and effective decision-making.
  • Manage external suppliers and delivery partners, ensuring contractual commitments and performance expectations are met.
  • Track project benefits, success measures and operational outcomes.
About You

You will be an accomplished project professional with significant experience delivering complex business and technology change programmes.

Essential Experience & Skills:
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale technology-enabled transformation projects with measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience leading Repairs, Property Services or operational transformation initiatives.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, including experience working with senior leadership teams.
  • Experience managing cross-functional project teams within matrix environments.
  • Strong commercial awareness and supplier management experience.
  • Knowledge of a range of project delivery methodologies and the ability to select the most appropriate approach.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and reporting skills.
  • Strong project planning and governance expertise.
Qualifications
  • PRINCE2, APM, PMP or equivalent project management qualification.
  • Degree-qualified or equivalent professional experience.
