Timetabling & Attendance Manager | up to £48k | Remote | CMIS | Scientia | Celcat | Semestry

 

An exciting opportunity has arised for people who has strong operational timetabling leadership experience to be part of an exciting change. 

The university is currently going through enhancements & transformation work in their timetabling department and are after a Timetabling Manager to be the main point of contact with all things to do with timetabling and to also improve systems associated to their full capability.

This would be a great opportunity for the post holder to come in and lead a motivated team of timetablers consisting of officers, systems lead, coordinators, officers and administrators in order to ensure accurate planning and delivery of academic timetable.

 

Role: Timetabling Manager

Employment Type: Permanent 37 hours

Location: Remote or Hybrid

Salary: £38,000 - £48,500

Essential skills:

 

  • Strong understanding of the timetabling services and how that impact student experience
  • Sound understanding of project management principals
  • Experience line managing a small to medium team
  • Takes a self-starter approach and proactive
  • Strong stakeholder management skills (influencing at all levels)

 

Desirable skills:

 

  • Experience working with Tribal SITS student information management system
  • Operational knowledge on Scientia timetabling system
  • Experience implementing timetabling software in HE environment

 

The Role

 

Reporting to the Head of Timetabling & Academic Registrar; you will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership timetabling team, looking after the timetabling software and all other non-teaching requests as well as the attendance monitoring system.

The role will have the opportunity working closely with Deans and other faculties leaders as well as the Direct of services to make sure timetabling being provided is to high quality possible.

You will have strong stakeholders’ management skill sets, because this is a role that will give you autonomy to make an impact how timetabling is viewed across the organisation but also will allow you to contribute to your own professional development.

 

Target Start Date – Can wait up to 3 months notice period
