Technology Risk (1.5 Line of Defence)
Senior IT Risk Associate required to support a major technology and cloud transformation programme. You’ll provide independent oversight and challenge to technology teams, ensuring effective risk management as infrastructure transitions from on-premise environments to AWS and GCP.
Key Focus
- IT risk and control assessments across systems, infrastructure, and change initiatives
- Cloud risk and control oversight (AWS / GCP environments)
- Translating regulatory, audit, and policy requirements into practical controls
- Governance reporting, audit readiness, and stakeholder engagement
- Strong IT risk, controls, or technology audit background
- Knowledge of recognised frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT, and ITIL
- Understanding of IT General Controls, cybersecurity, and cloud environments
- Experience working in regulated or complex technology organisations
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
