Location: London (Hybrid – 1-2 days on-site per week)

A high-growth financial technology company is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join its dynamic team. The organisation provides a cutting-edge banking platform as a service (SaaS), built entirely from the ground up. With strong backing from investors and a rapidly expanding customer base, the company is committed to leveraging modern technologies to drive operational efficiency and innovation.

The successful candidate will play a key role in scaling infrastructure, enhancing security practices, and supporting compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage secure cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure best practices in DevSecOps.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using modern tooling.
- Support compliance efforts including ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials+.
- Manage relationships with third-party security providers.
- Installing CI/CD guardrails
Essential Skills:
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, CloudFormation, and Control Tower.
- Strong proficiency in using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Advanced Kubernetes configuration and troubleshooting.
- Scripting skills in Bash and/or Python.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, ArgoCD, and Bitbucket.
- Background in financial services.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Broad IT Infrastructure knowledge
Desirable:
- Knowledge of security best practices and experience managing third-party security services.
