London | Permanent | Exposure Management | Highly Flexible Hybrid Working

I’m working with a leading (re)insurance organisation in London that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Catastrophe Analyst into its growing Exposure Management team. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a diverse and strategically important Non‑Natural Catastrophe portfolio across Terrorism, Cyber and Liability classes.

In this role, you will act as the lead analyst for all Non‑Nat Cat reporting, overseeing the modelling, management and analysis of key portfolios. You’ll produce regular reporting outputs, support monthly internal and external submissions, and handle underwriting requests for additional analytics. You will also play a key role in refining processes, strengthening data quality, and enhancing analytical tools and methodologies across the function.

You’ll work closely with underwriters and senior stakeholders, presenting insights, explaining portfolio movements and supporting decision‑making across pricing, exposure management, and reinsurance strategy. The position also involves contributing to event response, assisting with tool/model validation, and supporting wider Exposure Management initiatives — including coordination with an external outsourcer.

What’s on offer?

  • Highly flexible hybrid working
  • Excellent bonus and comprehensive benefits package
  • Opportunity to lead and influence the future direction of Non‑Nat Cat exposure management within a major market player

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years’ experience in insurance, ideally within Exposure Management in the London Market.
  • Strong understanding of catastrophe modelling, data governance and scenario analysis.
  • Experience with Non‑Natural Catastrophe classes is advantageous.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL and/or VBA.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing deadlines.

If you’re looking for a senior analytical role with real influence and outstanding flexibility and rewards, I’d love to speak with you.
