We’re looking for a Lead Delivery Manager to drive the successful delivery of complex Agile projects across a range of industries. Based in Leeds City Centre, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and clients, taking ownership of project outcomes from strategy through to execution. This is a hands-on and strategic role, ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality software solutions.
As a Lead Delivery Manager, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end project delivery across diverse sectors and technologies.
You’ll be the main point of contact for clients and work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful outcomes — balancing quality, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
🎯 Salary: £65,000–£70,000
📍 Location: Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week in Leeds City Centre

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the delivery of one large or several smaller software projects, often involving complex stakeholder environments

Shape and adapt Agile delivery practices to suit each project, coaching teams and clients on Agile principles

Manage the full project lifecycle — from planning and execution to testing, release, and retrospectives

Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and define value-driven deliverables

Act as the central point for client communication, progress updates, and expectation management

Facilitate Agile ceremonies, ensure team alignment, and proactively remove blockers

Work with engineering leads on resourcing, scope, estimation, and release planning

Oversee quality assurance efforts to ensure testing adds long-term value

Track and report on project health, risks, and Agile metrics, escalating issues when needed
What we’re looking for:

3+ years of project management experience, with a strong track record delivering Agile software projects

Confident working with senior stakeholders in client-facing roles

Experienced in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing external partners
Bonus points for:

Formal Agile or project management certifications (e.g. Scrum Master, PRINCE2, SAFe, APMP)

Consulting sector experience – understands the pace, complexity, and client demands of consultancy environments.

Strong analytical mindset with experience in business analysis and problem-solving in software delivery

Early-career hands-on technical experience in software or related fields

Solid understanding of databases and how they function in modern tech environments.
