We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to support a project within the housing sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong track record in business intelligence and data visualisation to contribute to a key transformation initiative.
This remote role is outside IR35 and will run for an initial 12 weeks, with a competitive daily rate of £450. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and deploying robust Power BI solutions to support data-driven decision making across housing-related services.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to business needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate data into actionable insights.
- Develop data models and establish dataflows using Power BI and DAX.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance best practices are maintained.
- Identify process improvement opportunities within reporting workflows.
- Support the migration of legacy reports and dashboards into the Power BI platform.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven commercial experience developing in Power BI.
- Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query and Data Modelling.
- Knowledge of SQL and strong skills in data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience working with cloud-based data sources such as Azure or SharePoint.
- Experience within the housing or public sector is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Understanding of housing management systems and data is beneficial.
This position offers flexible remote working, allowing you to contribute effectively without the need to be onsite. You will join a proactive team engaged in delivering meaningful reporting solutions to support strategic objectives within the housing sector.
