We are currently seeking a skilled NEC Configuration Consultant to support an ongoing project within the housing and IT sector. This is a full-time, remote position, offered on a 3-month contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in NEC Housing systems and an in-depth understanding of configuration, customisation, and optimisation to meet business and operational needs.
You will work collaboratively with business analysts, IT teams, and stakeholders to ensure configurations align with organisational goals. The role demands strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will be instrumental in reviewing current system setup, identifying areas for improvement, implementing solutions, and offering specialist guidance to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and assess current NEC Housing system configurations to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement configuration and development changes to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather system requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide expert advice and training to end-users and internal teams regarding system functionality and best practices.
- Produce technical documentation and maintain clear audit trails of configuration changes.
- Support the testing and deployment of upgrades, patches, and new features.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience working as a Configuration Consultant on NEC Housing systems.
- Strong understanding of housing management processes and how they are supported by NEC applications.
- Demonstrable background in system configuration, integration, and enhancement within NEC platforms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in agile project environments is beneficial.
