Finance Solution Architect (Part time) - 3 days a week
Contract: 3 Months (Potential to extend)
Location: North West
Time on site: Hybrid – 3 days per week on-site (for workshops) then reducing to once a week

This is an advisory-focused role where you'll work closely with senior stakeholders to define the future-state finance operating model, ensuring the solution is fit for purpose and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of the end-to-end finance solution across the transformation programme.
- Define current ("As Is") and future ("To Be") finance processes.
- Advise on finance operating models, governance and best practice.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify risks.
- Provide market insight and recommendations on modern finance solutions and innovation.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies within finance functions.
- Support the finance team through the transformation, providing guidance and confidence throughout the programme.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as a Finance Solution Architect or Finance Transformation Consultant – (Experience working in a finance setting is key)
- Strong background delivering finance transformation programmes within a Housing Association.
- Experience designing finance operating models and end-to-end finance processes.
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
- Experience with process mapping and documenting business processes.
- Ability to provide strategic, advisory-led recommendations rather than purely technical delivery.
- Experience implementing AI-enabled finance solutions or advising on AI opportunities within finance.
