  • Day Rate: £350-400 per day
  • IR35: Outside IR35
  • Location: Remote
  • Contract: 3 months (strong extension potential)

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery execution across all legacy workstreams.
  • Drive predictable flow from discovery through to release, surfacing delivery risks early.
  • Ensure delivery commitments are realistic, visible, and met.
  • Facilitate effective planning across duos and cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate sprint, increment, and release planning activities.
  • Manage cross-team dependencies and align plans with architectural constraints.
  • Provide concise and transparent updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Support teams in removing blockers, reducing ambiguity, and focusing on flow.
  • Ensure lightweight yet effective governance, traceability, and release readiness.
  • Monitor metrics such as throughput, cycle time, release frequency, and defect rates.

Required Experience

  • Strong track record of iterative, incremental delivery methods.
  • Experience leading platform modernisation or legacy system replacement initiatives.
  • Ability to operate effectively across product, engineering, and business contexts.
  • Confidence working in ambiguity, handling constraints, and managing competing priorities.
  • Background in service-led or product-driven organisations.
  • Skilled at communicating delivery realities clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience delivering within microservices and API-driven architectures.
  • Understanding of domain-driven design or service-oriented delivery teams.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and production release practices.
  • Operational delivery in environments where uptime and continuity are essential.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted tools in the context of software and delivery workflows.

  • Focus on learning, iteration, and course correction.
  • Use of AI-enhanced tools to accelerate analysis and delivery.
