Data Science Manager – £80,000 (flexibility) + 10% Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Location: Crewe | On-site, 5 days per week
Gravitas is proud to be working on behalf of an established B2B service provider in their search for a Data Science Manager to join their Group Data Science team.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead impactful data science initiatives that directly influence key business areas such as sales performance, customer retention, and marketing effectiveness. Based full-time at their modern head office in Crewe, you’ll collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver advanced analytical solutions across multiple service lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage data science projects across a range of business units including fuel, telematics, telecoms, insurance, vehicle solutions, EV, and energy.
- Work closely with stakeholders across all levels to ensure data-driven solutions deliver tangible business value.
- Guide and mentor a team of data scientists and analysts to produce insights that drive decisions in sales, marketing, credit, and customer functions.
- Support the development of targeted marketing strategies and optimise the sales pipeline through Salesforce CRM.
Key Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience in a data or analytics position
- Proficient in Python and SQL
- Hands-on experience in data science techniques and tools
- Experience mentoring or managing team members
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Proven ability to manage and lead cross-functional data projects
- Experience working with GTM (Sales, Customer, or Marketing) stakeholders
Desirable Experience:
- Salesforce CRM
- Tableau
- Databricks
