Data Protection Officer, required for a not-for-Profit organisation in the North West.
This role will play a pivotal part in helping his Charitable organisation in reviewing their policies and procedures. The successful candidate will need the interpersonal and communication skills to interact with the Senior Leadership team across the organisation to roll out potential new ways of working.
Role: Data Protection Officer
Salary: £45,000
Contract Type: Fulltime
Location: North West based offices - hybrid role whereby office travel is only needed for stakeholder meetings when those stakeholders are also in the office
The essential skills for the position are:
- Experience managing subject access requests
- Manage the data retention period process
- Strong stakeholders engagement skills – ability to talk to the business and educate on the processes in place
- Ability to review policies and procedures and see what is still fit for purpose
The role has great Senior Management buy in, with the Director of Governance & Assurance being the main role sponsor.
The role will come with the ability to own a project that will see this person responsible for a policy and procedures review. All the policics and procedures are in place, and have been documented digital.
