We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making within the housing sector. This is a full-time, remote position offered on a 6-month contract basis, outside IR35, with a daily rate of £400. You will play a critical role in gathering, analysing, and interpreting data from housing and IT systems to support service improvements, policy development, and operational efficiency.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, consistency, and availability across systems. You will create and maintain insightful dashboards, reports, and visualisations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. A strong understanding of SQL and data extraction from relational databases is essential, as is the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You must have experience working in either the housing industry or with housing management IT systems and be comfortable synthesising data from multiple sources, including CRM, ERP, and bespoke housing platforms. Familiarity with housing sector compliance metrics and reporting standards is highly desirable.

Key requirements include advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualisation tools, a solid understanding of data governance and security principles, and a proven ability to manage large datasets with accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.

This role requires a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Data Analyst or similar in a relevant industry. A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field such as data science, statistics, computer science or information systems is preferred. Industry certifications in data analytics tools or methodologies will be considered a plus.

If you’re passionate about using data to improve outcomes in the housing sector and want the flexibility of working remotely with a high level of autonomy, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
