We are seeking an experienced Head of Operations with a Public Sector/Not for Profit background to support and lead operational teams for one our Education clients, based in London. This is a key leadership role, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the strategic and operational development of the organisation, as well as managing a team of 10 through BAU duties.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in operational leadership, a background in the not for profit sector and demonstratable experience of managing day-to-day income, expenditure and finances for an entire operations division. You must demonstrate strong people management skills, including the ability to lead and support diverse teams, set clear goals and promote a positive and inclusive working environment.
Role: Head of Operations
Contract: 3 months (possibility of extension)
Working pattern: 3 days per week
Location: 2 days per week in central London, one remote.
Day Rate: £550-650 per day DOE
IR35: Outside IR35 (Small company exemption)
Start Date: ASAP
Essential Skills:
- Strong experience leading operations teams.
- Experience working in the Not for Profit Sector

- Demonstratable Leadership, financial planning and people skills.
Desirable:
- Experience working in the Education Sector.
- Demonstratable experience of presenting Operations Strategies/Budgets to Exec Teams/Boards.
