We are seeking a skilled and proactive Business Analyst to join a forward-thinking team during an exciting phase of transformation. The University is implementing a new Student Record System (SRS) to enhance the student experience and streamline administrative processes. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a significant project that will shape the future of their institution.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Working closely with the Project Management team
- Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements for the new SRS.
- Providing first-line support and expert advice to system users across multiple departments
- Advising on best practice use of the system to improve user efficiency and data quality
- Supporting the transition from legacy systems and helping embed the new solution
- Leading your own workstreams and contributing to a positive change culture
- Collaborating across business areas to identify user needs and training gaps
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in Business Analysis
- Experience working on a Finance System with in depth Finance knowledge
- Strong ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Desirable Skills
- Experience working on a Student Record System
- Experience with Agresso
- Understanding of processes around integrations
The new system will provide capabilities in all areas of Student management from Admissions, Records, Progression, Awards and Graduation as well as further capabilities in Finance, Course & Curriculum Management and Reporting. The Project has the following core elements:
- Implementation of the new system and the build of its core processes, data, and automation
- Data Cleanse and Migration of Data from existing systems to the new system
- Integration with an extensive portfolio of existing student applications
- Provision of new reports, student communications, and staff / student online portals
- Business Change and Transformation associated with new processes and student journeys
