BI / Finance Business Analyst

We are looking for a BI / Finance Business Analyst to join a major healthcare transformation program. This role is primarily focused on Business Intelligence (75%), with a smaller but critical component supporting finance-related reporting and data mapping (25%).

You will work closely with the BI Lead and finance stakeholders to deliver accurate reporting, improve patient turnaround visibility, and ensure financial coding is correctly integrated into the RIS system.

Key Responsibilities

• Support BI Lead with SQL-based reporting, data analysis, and dashboard development.
• Collect and map data items for finance reporting and integrate coding points into RIS (scan costs, nominal codes).
• Produce operational reports including turnaround times, waiting lists, and financial metrics.
• Assist with financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
• Document requirements, processes, and ensure data quality across BI and finance streams.

Essential Skills

• Strong SQL skills and experience working with data tables and reporting tools.
• Proven Business Analysis experience in BI environments.
• Ability to collect, map, and validate data for operational and financial reporting.
• Excellent documentation and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable Skills

• Experience in healthcare or RIS systems.
• Understanding of finance reporting requirements and cost allocation processes.
• Familiarity with nominal coding and integration into clinical systems.
