We are partnering with a high-growth SaaS business is hiring a Windows Platform Engineer to join an engineering team responsible for the infrastructure underpinning a large-scale, business-critical platform.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a team focused on automation, self-service, and modern platform engineering, helping development teams move faster while improving reliability, consistency, and operational efficiency. The engineering function is actively adopting AI-assisted delivery practices, with engineers increasingly working from specifications, reviewing AI-generated outputs, and using modern tooling to accelerate delivery and reduce repetitive manual work.

What you'll be doing
- Building and maintaining core Windows platform capabilities
- Driving automation and reducing manual operational effort
- Contributing to reusable modules, templates, and self-service platform solutions
- Supporting production reliability, resilience, and operational readiness
- Working with technologies including Ansible, PowerShell, Azure, Git, and JSON
- Contributing to infrastructure and platform engineering improvements across the organisation
- Working within an engineering team adopting AI-assisted workflows
- Delivering independently within a sprint-based environment with real ownership and accountability
What they're looking for
- Strong Windows Server infrastructure or platform engineering experience
- Strong hands-on Ansible automation experience
- Excellent scripting and automation skills, particularly with PowerShell
- Experience working with Git-based workflows, CI/CD principles, and production environments
- Exposure to Azure and infrastructure-as-code concepts
- Interest in modern engineering practices, including AI-assisted tooling and automation
- A self-starter who can work autonomously and deliver within agile sprint cycles
