Role Overview:
The Investment Manager will play a key role within the organisation’s investment advisory team, providing tailored investment solutions and expert guidance to private banking clients. The successful candidate will work closely with Relationship and Investment Managers to develop and oversee multi-asset portfolios, ensuring alignment with client objectives and market conditions. This role is vital in maintaining the organisation’s reputation for high-quality advice and exceptional client service.
Key Skills & Experience:
• 5+ years’ experience in private banking, wealth management, or investment advisory
• Proven experience advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients
• Strong expertise in fixed income, structured products, and equity derivatives
• Deep understanding of asset allocation, portfolio construction, and credit markets
• Knowledge of derivatives pricing, structured investment solutions, and risk management
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver customised investment advice to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients
• Construct and monitor multi-asset portfolios aligned with client risk profiles and market conditions
• Present investment strategies, market views, and portfolio recommendations to clients
• Conduct portfolio reviews and recommend tactical and strategic adjustments
• Act as a subject matter expert on bonds, structured notes, and equity-linked products
• Evaluate new investment opportunities and provide technical guidance to Relationship Managers and clients
• Participate in client meetings, prepare investment proposals, and build trusted client relationships
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal risk frameworks
• Collaborate with internal teams, support training, and contribute to client engagement initiatives
Requirements:
• Right to work in the UK

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline
• CISI qualifications or equivalent are advantageous
• Experience within private banking or wealth management preferred
