Role Overview
The Head of IT role involves leading and motivating a team of technical specialists, managing service and project delivery, and ensuring compliance with governance and risk standards. Reporting directly to senior leadership, success in this role will be demonstrated through maintaining resilient IT operations and delivering key projects on time and within budget.
Key Skills & Experience
- Lead and motivate a team of technical IT specialists
- Manage priority projects, IT contracts, and supplier relationships
- Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and business continuity standards
- Build relationships with senior leaders and external partners
- Demonstrate proven senior management accountability for IT service delivery
- Manage IT/digital infrastructure, SaaS environments, and on-premises architecture
- Oversee project management, IT budget control, and contract procurement
