The Digital Project Manager (LMS) contract supports a crucial technology transformation programme within the organisation. This role focuses on leading the discovery and mobilisation phases, establishing governance, stakeholder engagement, and preparing for full project delivery. The successful contractor will coordinate key activities and ensure alignment with wider transformation objectives.

- Proven experience delivering large-scale SaaS implementation programmes
- Strong experience leading discovery, mobilisation and project setup phases
- Experience delivering legacy system replacement and transformation projects
- Strong understanding of complex integration environments and technology dependencies
- Business change management and stakeholder engagement expertise
- Ability to work autonomously and bring structure to complex or ambiguous projects
- Strong risk management, problem-solving and planning capabilities
- Experience mapping "as-is" processes and working within environments with limited documentation
- Confident workshop facilitator with strong senior stakeholder management skills
Role Overview
This contract involves leading mobilisation and discovery activities for a major technology transformation with a focus on establishing project governance and stakeholder engagement. The role involves reviewing existing outputs, supporting LMS migration, and ensuring risk mitigation. The contractor will work closely with the Business Analyst, Product Manager, and Technical Architect to deliver key programme objectives within a mostly remote working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mobilisation and discovery activities for the programme
- Establish project governance, delivery forums, and reporting structures
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions to gather requirements
- Review existing programme outputs and identify opportunities to reuse previous work
- Assess current processes, integrations, and dependencies within a legacy environment
- Support ongoing LMS migration activity and ensure alignment with transformation goals
- Proactively identify risks, challenge assumptions, and drive resolution of issues
- Prepare the programme for a seamless handover to the permanent Senior Project Manager
Requirements

- On-site presence required in London (1 day per month)
