Desktop Engineers
Our NHS partnership involves a dedicated team committed to delivering quality healthcare support through robust IT infrastructure. This role involves supporting hardware installations and network setup within a healthcare environment, contributing to the smooth operation of NHS facilities. The position offers a hybrid working environment based around Greater Manchester, and it plays a crucial role in maintaining the technical backbone of healthcare services.
Role Overview:
The Desktop Engineer will be responsible for assisting with hardware setup, network patching, and maintaining printers, primarily Zebra printers, within NHS settings. The role is key to ensuring reliable IT infrastructure supporting patient care and operational efficiency.
Key Skills & Experience:
• NHS experience preferred but not essential
• PC setup experience
• Cable/Network patching experience
• Basics of networking knowledge
• Experience with Zebra printers
Key Responsibilities:
• Support hardware installation and configuration
• Assist with network cabling and patching tasks
• Maintain and troubleshoot Zebra printers
• Ensure equipment is properly set up and functioning effectively
Requirements:
• Right to work in the UK
• Based around the NW of England
• Available to start on 10/03/2026
• On-site working environment
