Gravitas Group are partnered with a leading UK Housing Association. My client is looking to hire a Bid Analyst to work alongside the New Business Development team, whilst reporting into the Head of the Development.
As the Bid Analyst, you will be responsible for bringing an analytical approach to the appraisals and bid tendering process.

Gravitas Group are partnered with a leading UK Housing Association. My client is looking to hire a Bid Analyst to work alongside the New Business Development team, whilst reporting into the Head of the Development.
As the Bid Analyst, you will be responsible for bringing an analytical approach to the appraisals and bid tendering process.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Appraise new opportunities on Pamwin (our equivalent appraisal software) and be able to understand mechanics of the appraisal tool and analyse the outturn data
- Procure new opportunities that fit the Growth Strategy including, but not limited to, S106, package deal and land led opportunities.
- Have a good understanding of Homes England’s funding programme objectives and criteria and all funding streams available to subsidise the programme.
- Develop a strong network of contacts with developers, contractors, housebuilders, land agents, local authorities and other stakeholders for new business opportunities on upcoming development sites.
- Identify risks relevant to purchasing land and maintain a live risk register.
- Co-ordinate the preparation of pre-qualification/expression of interest responses for new business bids.
- Deliver tenders for new business opportunities – including the preparation of appropriate text and taking responsibility for production of final bid documents.
- Adhere to the internal gateway processes and compile reports for approvals and updates inclusive of financial data and consultation feedback.
- Complete due diligence as part of the bidding and approval process, this will include liaising with landowners, developers, planners, legal advisors, valuers, architects and other key stakeholders.
- Assisting as required in the development of policies, systems and procedures, and the production of management information as required.
- This role will be a data steward and will ensure that relevant data is accurate and kept up to date.
- To nurture relationships and produce bids which progress to 200 homes reaching Head of Terms per annum.
- To produce reports, in line the new scheme approval template and writing standards for presentation at our approval gateways.
- To collate, maintain and present user friendly bidding data on a weekly and ad hoc basis.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the development process across a range of building and tenure types.
- Proven experience of scheme and site analysis in addition to undertaking financial appraisals.
- Good financial and numerical skills including budget and cashflow management.
- Proven experience in delivering new business within a housing association, local authority, or private developer environment.
- IT literate and experience of using Pamwin, Proval or any other industry recognised financial model.
