Senior Catastrophe Modeling Analyst - Marine & Energy

The Marine Energy and Engineering Analytics team at global broker is expanding and we're on the lookout for a talented Cat Modeller to join their team.

As a Senior Cat Modeller, you'll have the opportunity to work within a global team spanning offices in the US, Asia Pacific, Europe, and London.

You'll work closely with brokers and clients as part of their analytics team, contributing directly to insurance and reinsurance placements.

This role offers ample opportunities for skills development and expansion within the field of catastrophe modeling.

Managing the entire Cat modelling process independently while ensuring alignment with team best practices.

Staying updated with the latest Cat modelling knowledge and contribute to process efficiencies by leveraging technology.

Provide Cat modelling education programs for brokers to enhance their understanding of risk.

You will need to have:

  • A degree in a quantitative field or relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrate an ability to solve problems and communicate complex concepts clearly.
  • Previous experience in reinsurance and/or insurance with a strong grasp of risk modelling.
  • Experience with AIR Touchstone and RMS models.
