About the role As an International Management Liability Underwriter, you will work closely with the Team Leader and other members of the team to focus on servicing and growing the profitable international portfolio. You will be responsible for the day-to-day underwriting of Management Liability accounts and everything that comes with it, including relationship management, broker development and, at times, work travel. Expert underwriting and excellent customer service are at the centre of everything our client does, so an important part of your day will spent in meetings and on the phone with brokers. As well as underwriting of accounts and business development, you will have exposure to other teams within the business, including actuarial, claims and product development. You will need to have an analytical mind as well as a desire to develop your technical underwriting and business development skills. This is an experienced hire, so we're really keen to learn more about your previous experience broking or underwriting in Directors & Officers /Management Liability, and hearing about how you create and maintain positive broker relationships. The Management Liability team are a collaborative bunch and thus we are looking for a team player that can build and share knowledge on the market and emerging trends as well as relationships across the business. The Management Liability Team The Management Liability team is dedicated to expert underwriting across the global management liability market, with teams focusing on the UK, North American and International markets. The UK & International practice is a growing team of underwriters focusing on developing exciting portfolios in core territories, including the UK, Europe, Australia, Caribbean and Middle East. The business aim is to simplify complex risk and be a go-to partner for our broker partners around the world providing innovative underwriting and claims service. The team pride themselves on there in depth product knowledge and market leading service standards. The Management Liability team are part of the wider Specialty division which has over 15 year's experience providing insurance to traditional and emerging industries and are the go-to-market for management liability, financial institutions, kidnap and ransom, and product recall risks.
