Gary Morley

​Gary started out his career as a Contractor Care Administrator in 2003, where he found himself increasingly supporting the legal department, which naturally led to him to become the lead reviewer of client contracts. The transition into the Legal Department, and eventually becoming a Quality Manager, resulted in him becoming heavily involved with changes in legislation over the years, such as the implementation of the EAA Regulations, GDPR, AWR, and the public sector implementation of the current IR35 requirements.

Gary joined Gravitas in 2021. In his role today he is primarily responsible for the Legal team, ensuring the terms of business meet their client’s expectations and that all parties' needs are met, and in full compliance with current legislation. He works with the Customer Care & Compliance team and the wider business to provide training and support when clients have specific requirements, or when legislation changes result in a new procedure or policy being implemented.

Gary is passionate about recruitment, as he knows that finding the right candidate for the job can make or break a project. He’s aware that a lot of companies don’t have the budget for huge internal recruitment departments, so finding the right candidate can take up a considerable amount of time for managers who have teams of their own to run. As specialists in the market, being able to reduce the time to hire, and find people with the right skills and business acumen to be presented to their clients is incredibly rewarding, as this means the client can spend more time with their team, doing what they do best.
