Job Title: Tester
Location: London, Greater London, United Kingdom
Salary: £500 per day

Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Tester to join our team on a contract basis. You will conduct tests to ensure the software created by our developers is fit for purpose, reliable, and ready for release. Your diligence and attention to detail will be key in meeting the high standards of our company operations. Working within an Agile environment, you will collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver robust, high-quality solutions on time and to specification.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse user stories and use cases for validity and feasibility.
• Design, write, and maintain clear test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Collaborate closely with other team members and departments.
• Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression).
• Detect, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies through to resolution.
• Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Provide regular progress updates and quality reports to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• In-depth understanding of Test Management Tools, Test Methodologies, Test Plans and Test Cases.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
