Job Title: Senior Android Developer (Contract)

Location: London Hybrid (2-3 Days in Office)

Salary: £400-£450 per day (Outside IR35)

Job Timeline: 2 Month Assignment, Starting from January 6th

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable and reliable Android applications.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organisation, and automation.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Android development.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
