We are currently working with a leading Global Insurer seeking a Catastrophe Modelling Analyst to focus on terrorism. You will be working closely with underwriters, lead quoting and aggregation services, where you will become a subject matter expert that can then be involved in training junior analysts and outsourcing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exposure Information Management: Record and model exposure information to monitor allocated insurance portfolios.
  • Underwriter Liaison: Work closely with class underwriters to lead the quoting and aggregation service.
  • Rollup Processes: Support rollup processes ensuring consistency across multiple geographies.
  • Training: Train junior analysts and the outsourcing team, ensuring knowledge transfer and development.
  • Data Quality: Maintain and improve data quality in accumulation systems.
  • Pre-Bind Risk Modelling: Use AIR to model risks on behalf of underwriters pre-bind.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Provide validated model outputs for internal and external regulatory submissions.
