About the Role

We are currently partnering with an IT vendor who is looking to double their headcounts int he next 2 years and currently looking for implementation consultants that can do configurations and do end to end delivery of student management system implementation. As an implementation consultant, your main role will be to provide hands-on implementation across various projects, delivering a compelling customer experience by achieving consulting implementation excellence. You are also expected to support through the project lifecycle, including design verification, reconfiguration, testing, support through delivery and go-live.

This is for someone that enjoys working in a dynamic environment where you are engaging multiple customers at a given time providing off the shelf solution. Therefore there are lots of opportunities for you to progress or have exposure to other ERP systems in long term. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse customer requirements and manage customer expectations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge about current trends and new technologies, driving innovation and developing ideas for discussion and implementation.
  • Establish and maintain senior-level engagement with key customer stakeholders to identify opportunities for additional consulting services with existing customers.
  • Collaborate with the New Projects team to provide input into the configuration and management of product and solution implementations.
  • Contribute to revenue generation through utilisation and identification of further product and service opportunities.
  • Proactively communicate any issues that may/will impact delivery on customer expectations.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the student lifecycle
  • Experience as implementation consultant delivering on ERP solutions (local government, higher education, charities, housing, etc)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Customer centric, you're a customer advocate and know what it takes
    to deliver a compelling customer experience

Desirable skills:

  • Experience delivering end to end implementation projects to Universities in the UK or internationally
  • A background with ERP systems, or other complex software products
    (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Infor, CIVICA or other)
